APA would love to be selected to receive a Rosco floor! We are a small studio of about 250 students in a small town. We have 2 rooms, multi-genres of dance including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, and modern and wood floors - which are great, but take a beating! I have some lovely, hard-working pointe dancers who work hard on this "fast" (slick) wood floor using rosin, but I have been considering Rosco flooring in one room for pointe, ballet, modern, etc.

At Black Swamp Fine Arts we strive to develop not only fantastic dancers, but beautiful souls through an encouraging and positive atmosphere. When I entered the dressing room to fetch my next class of dancers to perform, I was surprised to hear the room filled with singing of recital songs. A class of young students was dancing their recital piece in the dressing room while the 'big girls' sang. It made my heart smile to see the 'big girls' investing their time and energy into the younger class. They gave compliments and constructive criticism without any prompting by a teacher or adult. What beautiful souls.

We are making due with what we have now but it would be a huge blessing to get flooring. We are a small studio and don't really make a profit to afford it. I do it for the joy of seeing the kids dance. The photo above is our competition kids. We strive to provide dance lessons to anyone who wants to dance even if they can't afford it!

This is Pharynx Mcrae and Brianna Boone of Competitive Edge Dance Company in St. Petersburg, FL. They are 2 of my hardest working Juniors @ my studio and have so much passion and determination. I chose this photo because of their "knees"! We are a very small but Competitive Dance Studio but have been dancing on less than ideal floors for over a year now. However, these 2 girls (and MOST of my dancers actually) still NEVER mark their routines despite all the dropping to their knees, leaping, jumping, tumbling, crawling, etc!!!! I chose this photo because their knees are bruised, scraped, even scarred....and even though to me that shows that they are determined and never give up....it is still my job to keep them safe and keep their bodies safe. On March 17, 2018 we competed in our first ever dance competition in Indianapolis at VIP. This photo was taken by our instructor Liliana ( and the big sis of the dancer in black) backstage before their duet performance. We opened DDA four years ago when my two daughters, which are our instructors, were only 14 & 16. It's amazing what these young girls have accomplished at such a young age. Kentucky Ballet Theatre
Kentucky Ballet Theatre performs a repertory concert in March with a floor that has been used since the company's inception. As we celebrate our 20th anniversary season, we look to grow with equipment. KBT needs a new floor for an upcoming tour to Tennessee in September where the company will put on Alzheimer's and Dementia programs as outreach and public performances for the entire southern Tennessee community for the last week of September 2018. Turning Out Dance Company
This is a collage from our very first dance Recital from our first year in studio. Our recital was April 21st, 2018 and we had a fantastic turn out. Parents, friends and family had nothing but compliments and only see our studio growing in the coming year. We are a small town of less than 5,000 people, in Mitchell, Indiana, and we only had a start up goal of 25 students but ended up with 70 students our first year. I, the owner and instructer, also coach a competitive middle school dance team in Mitchell which definitely benefited to having such a successful first year. We are looking forward to many more successful years as a studio and the help of new dance flooring would definitely help these girls succeed and become not only the best dancers possible but best people with the kindest hearts.

This was a our last competition with KAR held at the Rialto Theater in Joliet, IL - March 16-18! We'd love to win new mats for our studio. It would be such a blessing!!!

Hard working dancers who love dance so much! Every time they take the stage their love for dance shines bright. White Marsh Ballet Academy is so much more than a dance studio for these girls, it's become a 2nd home and a dance family. We could really use a new floor this company performs 3 shows a year! We would even Thankyou for the new floor by our dancers making you the best dance Thank you video!!! Love all the dancers of WMBA

Greatmats is hosting its 3rd Annual Dance Studio $1,000 Giveaway during the months of April and May 2018. The 2018 contest features the giving away of $1,000 worth of Rosco dance flooring to be divided among three dance studio winners. Here’s how the contest works:
- Enter by submitting a photo and a brief description, during the month of April, of your dancer(s) at a recent dance competition, recital or community performance.
- Recruit friends and family to vote for your photo on Greatmats.com during the first two weeks of May.
- Three winners will receive new Rosco dance flooring.
