StayLock Tiles
StayLock tiles by Greatmats are incredibly versatile and durable, easily installed across multiple subsurfaces, including over concrete, carpet, wood, dirt, grass, and gravel. Use them for basements, gyms, athletic facilities, outdoor wet areas, patios, decks, and more.
Trust Greatmats for StayLock tiles that are non-absorbent, waterproof, and very easy to clean and maintain. Because these flexible tiles are made of highly durable PVC (polyvinyl chloride), they offer anti-fatigue relief and comfort when used as commercial and home gym flooring or as deck and patio flooring.
Greatmats’ StayLock Products
Greatmats has three different kinds of StayLock floor tile designs for residential or commercial use.
- StayLock Tile Bump Top: StayLock bump top tiles have a bubble-like surface texture that delivers superior ergonomic benefits and aesthetic appeal, as well as anti-fatigue properties.
- StayLock Tile Orange Peel: StayLock orange peel tiles are ideal as lightweight fitness or utility tiles that are durable like rubber with an orange peel-textured surface. They are extremely strong and well made.
- StayLock Tile Perforated: StayLock perforated tiles are waterproof. They offer an ASTM fall height rating of 20 inches, meaning you can use them safely for a deck, rooftop, pool area, wet area, or outdoor play area.
- StayLock Tile Borders: StayLock also offers border and corner edging in black, providing a smooth and safe transition off and onto the floor. Ramped edges provide a smooth transition, and they easily interlock with full tiles.
Installation and Maintenance of StayLock Tiles
One of the most significant advantages of StayLock multipurpose flooring is the ease of installation and maintenance.
- How to install StayLock tiles: Installing StayLock modular tiles just involves connecting the lock-in tabs and slots on the edges of the tiles. You do not need adhesive.
- How to install StayLock tiles over carpet: You can install StayLock floor tiles on any hard, flat surface, such as some low-pile carpeting, depending on its padding and thickness. If you have difficulty installing the tiles on carpet, adding a flat surface underneath, like plywood, may help.
- How to cut StayLock tiles: Cutting StayLock tiles involves using a straightedge and a sharp utility knife. You may want to use cardboard under the tiles to guard against damage if the blade fully penetrates the PVC StayLock tile.
- How to maintain StayLock tiles: Maintenance of StayLock tiles is an easy process because the PVC is waterproof. Use a mixture of baking soda and vinegar to clean all models of these tiles. Avoid cleaning products that contain bleach.
