It has a matte finish with a slight embossing in the surface, which delivers anti-slip capabilities. If a dancer slips, it could lead to an injury. Our silver dance floor allows the dancers to slide their feet to complete each move, but it lets them maintain full control while moving.

Installation

Installing this roll in any location is an easy process. No matter how long the customer left it rolled up in storage, it will lay flat immediately.

With almost 700 square feet in coverage for a roll that only weighs about 250 pounds, customers can move it in and out of place relatively easily versus heavier rolls.

Portable dance flooring rolls allow the dance troupe to take the unique floor to a new venue for each performance. Giving performances in a new location each time can be a challenge, because the team may encounter vastly different sizes and shapes of stage areas.

Because this floor only measures 0.05 inches in thickness, customers can easily cut it to fit the stage size. Just use a sharp utility knife and a straightedge to make a clean cut.

At 5.25 feet in width, installers often will need to lay out adjacent strips of this flooring to cover the entire stage.

To secure the strips to the subfloor, customers should use vinyl tape around the perimeter of the layout. The manufacturer offers a metallic type of vinyl tape that will match the look of the floor. Add tape to the seams between the strips as well.

After the performance, remove the vinyl tape and begin rolling up the strips. Some customers prefer having rolls of lightweight strips after cutting the floor, rather than having an entire roll of floor, when it is time to move the floor from one venue to another.

Maintenance and Care

Like PVC material, customers should clean this vinyl material with a dry mop or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dry debris.

When the floor is showing smudges, soils, or stains that detract from the metallic silver design, customers can wet mop the floor. Use warm water alone or make use of a neutral pH cleaner diluted with warm water to clean the vinyl safely.

Before allowing people to use it again or before rolling it up to place it into storage, allow it to fully air dry.
