Each mat has holes cut into it that run through the entire 5/8-inch thickness. This allows spilled liquids to fall through to the subfloor and to move toward a floor drain. The nib backing elevates the mat for improved and faster drainage.
At 5/8 inches thick, the Performa Fatigue Mat provides workers with exceptional anti-fatigue support. Elevated nib backing provides drainage for optimal safety in wet, greasy areas. This rubber compounded mat has built-in interlocking connectors for custom configurations and larger surface area coverage.
Connectible Edges to Create Large Coverage Spaces
For those who need a larger coverage size, these modular kitchen floor mats contain male connectors on one edge and female connectors on the other three edges. This allows you to connect these interlocking mats to form a long run or an L-shaped mat.

No effect: butyl alcohol
Little effect: gasoline, sodium hydroxide
Moderate effect: acetic acid, animal fats, chlorine, water-based cutting fluid, soluble oil cutting fluid, diesel, mineral oil, diluted sulfuric acid
Not recommended: acetone, brake fluid, MEK, diluted nitric acid, toluene, trichloroethane, transmission fluid, xylene, vegetable oil

Like the product. However ordered an "instock" item which was shared would ship immediately. From order to ship we were delayed almost 2 1/2 weeks. Once shipped arrived in 3 days. Disappointing...that was a point of emphasis in the purchase conversation
