Watch as we test the ability for Greatmats garage floor tile diamond flooring system against sparks from a bench grinder and open flames from a lighter.
The snap together interlocking garage tiles are made from a rigid polypropylene plastic which did pit from the sparks that originated just a few inches away from the tiles. It also melted slowly when exposed to the open flame.
Keep that in mind if you plan to use plastic garage flooring in areas where metalworking will take place.
