Gym Floor, Pro Athletic Floors, Office Floors, Commercial Flooring, Retail and Business Carpet Tiles
Dominator LP Gym Carpet Tiles 3/8 Inch x 19.69x19.69 Inches 20 per Carton is your floor covering answer to a carpet solution for a commercial gym or fitness center.
Dominator LP Gym Carpet Tiles
For a highly durable type of carpeting to use in a gym type of setting, our Dominator LP Gym Carpet Tiles have a long-lasting design that can stand up to rough treatment and continue to look great.
Our gym carpet tiles use a non-woven manufacturing process with a polypropylene fiber that’s sure to provide outstanding durability. The needle-punch construction keeps the fibers in place, preventing unwanted fraying and other issues that detract from the look of the material.
These carpet tiles are made with 20% recycled material.
Easy Installation Gym Carpet Tiles
Our carpet squares can go over the top of almost any type of flat floor, including existing vinyl, laminate, or a cement floor for a home gym or garage gym.
Installers may dry lay or use double-sided carpet tape for the most secure and safe layout, so they don’t slip out of place while people are trying to do their workouts.
However, in many instances where the room is average sized or smaller than average, the tension of laying the tiles against walls and against each other should hold them in place with no adhesive required.
In a large room, the manufacturer recommends using double-sided carpet tape on every fifth row of tiles to maintain the tension required for dry laying the rest of the tiles.
Before performing the installation, place the cartons of gym carpet tiles in the room. Allow them to acclimate to the temperature of the space.
These tiles work best when room temperatures are between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit, but they will work nicely in rooms with temperatures a little outside this range.
If using the tiles underneath equipment that will roll, such as chairs with casters or equipment carts, the manufacturer recommends securing all of the tiles to the floor with tape or glue.
Multiple Color Options for Carpet Squares
The Dominator LP tiles are available in multiple different color options. Each tile includes a diagonal pattern. The main color of the tile lines up in diagonal stripes, separated by darker colored stripes, allowing the ribs to show easily.
To maintain the pattern in the tiles, the manufacturer included a directional arrow printed on the back. Line up the arrows to maintain the pattern, or alternate the direction of the arrows for a checkerboard type of pattern by turning each tile 90 degrees.
This design creates a textured look in the floor, which can be desirable in certain locations, adding to the decor of the room and building.
These are lightweight tiles that are easy to install. Even with dimensions of almost 20 by 20 inches, each tile weighs only about 2.5 pounds.
With the mix of eye-catching colors and durability, customers can install these tiles in almost any location, including office buildings, commercial gyms, building lobbies, walkways, retail stores, restaurant entryways, hotels, and homes.
The carpet squares have an excellent wear layer, which helps them to maintain their color accuracy and to avoid fraying, even in areas with regular foot traffic.

Maintenance and Care
Our gym carpet tiles can be subject to a wide range of soils and foot traffic, making it important to clean the tiles regularly. With the textured look and the ribs in the pattern, regular vacuuming is necessary.
Most of the cleaning processes can occur as a DIY job, but the customer may need to hire a professional carpet cleaning service every year or two for a thorough cleaning, especially in a commercial setting.
In between professional cleanings, use a wet extraction cleaner for the best method of keeping the color looking like new.
For regular cleaning in a commercial or home gym, use a vacuum cleaner to loosen and pull up dry debris. The vacuum cleaner can have a rotary brush head or a beater bar. Leaving dry soils in the carpet can lead to matting over time.
The manufacturer recommends vacuuming once or twice a day in heavy foot traffic areas. Otherwise, vacuuming a few times a week should work well.
After a liquid spill on the carpet squares, try to absorb as much of the spill as possible without blotting. Try to pick up the remainder of the liquid with blotting using a rag or paper towel.
If stains persist, customers can use a gentle cleaning solution on the stain. Apply the cleaner according to the directions on the bottle. Afterward, remove any remaining residue according to the instructions.
Maintenance
Vacuum regularly.
