These modular carpet entrance tiles create an easy to install, snap-together modular floor. It is designed for indoor or outdoor entryways. The carpet top of these tiles will allow your guests to easily scrape snow, salt, and sand from their footwear as they enter your building.
This entrance floor tile can also be used to create an attractive parquet pattern. The tiles are 1x1 ft in size and 1/2 inch thick with strips of durable commercial grade carpet attached to the top of the tile in a linear fashion.
Choose this modular interlocking entrance tile to enhance the look and safety of any entrance way. Easily connect the tiles together for a finished look every time. These tiles are a high quality product made in the USA and features non slip top surface. The tiles are waterproof and will absorb any moisture, while allowing water to drain through the tiles.
Interlocking male/female 'T' tab with locking tooth system keeps tiles fastened together. When assembled, interlocking system to ensure tiles fit tightly together, joints are aligned, surfaces are flush, and movement between tiles is restricted.

Maintenance
Sweep or vacuum regularly. Tiles can be lifted to clean the floor underneath. The carpet can be shampooed with a mild soap or neutral pH detergent.

Q: I was told this product must be glued down; everything I read about it says it can be self-laid; it is interlocking. Which is it? Can I place this around an indoor pool? I really like the carpet feel, I think. Will the chlorine damage it?
A: This is not a glue-down product; it's an interlocking modular tile designed for outdoor entrance areas in commercial buildings. Install over a hard, flat surface only. We are not sure about the chlorine and the carpet question; it's not tested for this. We promote our all PVC perforated floor tiles for spa and pool surrounds.
Q: Can the 1'x1' tiles be laid all in one direction or 1/4 turned?
A: These can be laid out either in one direction or quarter-turned.

The mats have withstood the cart traffic without movement or separation. The carpet has not separated from the backing, even with daily cart traffic. The tiles continue to look new.

Awesome product. This fit our needs to a tee and looks and functions beautifully. Looks to be very durable and strong with 1/2 inches tall we were able to inset it in our floor and rurround with Creamic tile at our commercial Business main Entrance. We love the product.

Dear Great Mats Customer Support Center,
Last Friday (12/31/10), my company, GEM Commercial Flooring Company installed 192sf (12' x 16') of GreatMats "Linear Look" Outdoor Interconnecting 12" x 12" tiles at the main entrance of BE Aerospace's Lenexa, KS corporate offices. I am thrilled to report that this installation was a complete success!
To keep everything from shifting, I installed a customized stainless steel "ramped" frame surrounding three of the entry mat's four sides.
By quarter-turning each tile, I am most confident that the effectiveness of this installation to capture moisture, loose sand, dirt, snow, and ice-melt from people's shoes will be optimal.
Lastly, and most importantly, the customer is absolutely happy with the way this installation looks!
