Rosco Adagio Touring Black Portable 1.5 mm x 5.25 Ft. Wide x 10 LF
Rosco Adagio Touring Black Portable 5.25 Ft. x 10 Ft. roll is specifically designed to be used as a portable tap dance floor for touring tap and dance groups. This floor can be used on a temporary, or non-daily use. This portable tap dance flooring material can be used for all dance types including tap, ballet, hip-hop and jazz. Adagio Tour 10 LF portable marley dance floor is the same material as our standard Adagio by Rosco in a thinner, more portable version.
Rosco Adagio Touring Black Portable 5.25 Ft. x 10 LF roll marley dance floor is a tough, lightweight, and portable dance floor that is easy to install and suitable for many dance types and all dance shoes. Consider the Adagio Tour for temporary theatrical applications.
Adagio Tour has been specially designed to lay flat quickly and provide a surface with terrific tap sound. The surface is also excellent for all other dance forms including ballet, modern, Irish and jazz. Adagio Tour weighs only 1.6 lbs. per linear foot and provides a matte, non-reflective surface that is ideal in all performance venues. Adagio Tour is very flexible, assuring years of carefree rolling and re-rolling.
When using tap shoes on a regular daily basis (For example: in a dance studio) we only recommend our full thickness Adagio flooring material and not the Adagio Tour. This is because the Tour is not thick enough for the demands of a tap floor that is in use on a regular basis.
Storage: Rolls of vinyl marley dance floor should never be stored in a flat position as this will cause the rolls to flatten and may cause rippling in the material when unrolled. The material should always be stored in an upright standing position rolled up tight on the provided core.
Please note: Tap shoes with aluminum taps will leave black oxidation marks on all marley vinyl flooring material. This is more noticeable with gray flooring. For this reason, we do not recommend gray flooring when using this floor for tap dancing. Tap shoes with steel taps will not leave black marks. However, all tap shoes will leave some non-color markings on the floor.
If you notice excessive markings from tap dancing, check the screws on the tap dance shoes.
The first time you use your new floor you may notice shoe marks. Don't panic! This expected and is a sign that the floor is doing its job as scuffs are a result of friction between a shoe and the grip of the floor. When the floor is shiny and new, each scuff is very noticeable. After more use, the scuffs will start to blend into a patina on the floor – just as they do inside dance studios everywhere.
Storage
Rolls of Adagio dance floor by Rosco should never be stored in a flat position, as this will cause the rolls to flatten and can cause rippling in the material when unrolled. The dance studio flooring should always be stored in an upright position. Roll the material up tight on the core and tape it closed. Stand it on end for storage.

Super sales staff and communication. Excellent prices. Free shipping and it arrived at my house in Ohio in less than a week.
I ordered (3) 10-LF rolls of the Adagio touring floor to install in my basement as a small practice studio. I was able to carry the rolls one at a time by myself.
Two of the three pieces were the same length. One was about 3” short. It worked okay for my application, but I would’ve been upset if I was ordering it for a more professional use.
One piece rolled out smoothly and flat. One was a little bumpy and took some smoothing with heat. The third took 4 hours of pulling with gaffer tape and a hairdryer to flatten it into a useable form. It looks beautiful and the price was right, but it took a significant amount of effort for installation. If you look closely at the image, you’ll see I left the tension tape on the piece on the right to hold it in form. I plan to leave it a while to make sure it will hold shape before removing and using a standard tape pattern.

Greatmats had good prices, a helpful website, in stock items, and on time delivery. My Rosco Adagio Touring mat has been enjoyable to use so far. I'm very happy with what I received from Greatmats!! It has greatly improved my dance at home experience.
