Gymnastics Mat 4x8
EnviroSafe folding gymnastic mats are also safe for tumbling and mixed martial arts, made from two layers: one layer is extra-firm foam, and the next layer is semi-soft cushioning foam. This mat is for medium skill level impact activities, with foam that provides just the right amount of cushioning and absorption and prevents bottoming out. Each mat comes with hook and loop attachment on all four sides. The seams of the mat are heat welded.
Hypo-allergenic
This folding tumbling gymnastics mat is not only hypo-allergenic, it is also a latex free and non toxic gymnastics mat. The 18 oz. vinyl is fire retardant and is UV light, mildew and mold resistant.
How thick should a gymnastics tumbling mat be?
The 2 3/8-inch offers plenty of versatility, as it has enough padding for both children and adults to work out and play safely on them. They also can be moved around relatively easily, so they provide a nice mix of features.
Can you use foam gymnastics mats for an exercise mat?
Gymnastics folding mats are an outstanding mat for all kinds of exercise sessions, providing a good mix of durability and cushioning. For those who need a firmer surface, such as for yoga or Pilates workouts, our Roll Out 5x10 Ft is a terrific selection. On the other end of the spectrum, a gymnastics crash mat will be extremely thick, yielding maximum cushion in a 4x8 gymnastics mat.
How do you clean a 4x8 gymnastics mat?
Our foam tumbling pads are easy to care for after a workout. Use hot water and a sponge to take care of any spots. Should a child spill liquid on the surface, just clean it up quickly by removing as much water as possible and allowing it to dry naturally. These will slightly absorb liquids if the moisture is left in place too long. Do not soak these in water when cleaning them, as it's material is partially absorbent.
