Gracie Barra Jacksonville wins 2016 AGF Tampa BJJ Championships

Gracie Barra Jacksonville claimed first place in the overall team standings at the first-ever American Grappling Federation Tampa BJJ Championships, held at the Tampa State Fairgrounds on Oct. 1, 2016.

Forty one points behind the champion was second-place Marra Senki Jiu Jitsu. Breaking Point Martial Arts was just 12 points out of the runner-up spot in third place.

Gracie Barra Jacksonville was also the divisional champion for the Kids No Gi Division while Breaking Point Martial Arts won the Kids Gi Division.

Bringing home both the Adults No Gi and Adults Gi Division titles was American Top Team. Marra Senki placed second in Kids No Gi and third in Kids Gi. Breaking Point Martial Arts was third in Kids Gi while Gracie Barra Jacksonville was second in the Kids Gi Division.

Swamp Academy finished second to American Top Team by a tie breaker in the Adults No Gi Division while Demian Maia USA - Daniel Perez BJJ placed third.
Vagner Rocha Martial Arts was the second place team in the Adults Gi Division, also followed by Demian Maia USA - Daniel Perez.
