These mats are easy to install under swings and slides. They can be loose laid, and the weight of the mat will keep it in place. When used with playground mulch, install the mat so the top is level with the mulch. When installing over grass, it’s recommended to dig a one-inch-deep trench to fit the mat.
These mats can be used in other ways, too. Use them to create a backyard walkway, garden walkway, and more. They can provide safety in any situation and will last for years while doing so.
Disclaimer
These rubber tiles are manufactured using recycled rubber buffings or crumb rubber from reground automotive tires. Black or color from the rubber material will rub off to some extent under normal use. This is common contact wear with this type of rubber tile in this product family type. All pigmented colored rubber tiles for outdoor and indoor use will experience some color ambering under UV exposure and some circumstances of color coming off.

Q: Do you have black and tan variegated mats?
A: We do not have a variegated option.
Q: I’m looking for an outdoor mat that I can use to jump rump. Would this mat work for that purpose?
A: The swing mat would work for jumping rope. We do have order minimums that need to be met for this mat. Please call our sales team to discuss other options.
Q: How many years will the green color last when outdoors and in the sun?
A: The color does not fade quickly. You should get years of use out of this mat.
Q: Do you have mats that can be anchored into the ground?
A: While we do not offer anchored playground mats, typically the weight of the mat will hold it in place.
