For maximum storage capacity, 2x2 foot tiles should be interlocking together in 4x4 ft squares with borders strips removed and stacked in flat layers.

This case is intended to be used for Greatmats products only and not any other foam tiles from other factories, such as the Comfort Carpet Tiles or the Rustic Wood Grain Tiles. These tiles have separate cases as these tiles are a little larger than the Greatmats foam and Royal carpet tiles.

Capacity for 1x1 Meter Mats

• 3/4 inch thick dog agility mats: up to 37 mats - (approximately 20x20 foot area)

  1 inch thick martial arts karate mats: up to 28 mats - (approx. 16x16 foot area)

Since 1x1 meter mats are roughly 40x40 inches in size, there will be extra space in the 48x48 inch diameter case for additional equipment.

How much can I expect the cases to weigh?

The case itself weighs 105 pounds while the contents of the case can vary in weight greatly. For lower density EVA foam tiles such as the 5/8 Premium tiles, you'll add up to 175 pounds of additional weight weight. For higher density foam tiles, such as the sport plus designer tiles, that additional weight could add up to around 565 pounds, bringing the combined weight to around 670 pounds.

If you are filling the case with floor tiles of a more dense material such as plastic, rubber or vinyl, the weight is significantly more.
