This 1/4 inch thick rubber flooring is best used in spinning rooms, cardio areas, and light-duty commercial areas. For commercial gyms with heavy equipment, it is recommended to use 8mm or thicker rubber flooring.

Rolled rubber is an excellent product for protecting floors from free weights and exercise equipment, it also acts as a sound dampener. This product is made in the USA and consists of 100% post-industrial recycled material.

Rubber Flooring Roll Information

Also available are rubber flooring rolls in pre-cut lengths of 25 and 50 linear feet in 8 mm and 3/8 inch thickness. They are available in all black, black regrind, black with 10 percent color fleck, black with 20 percent color fleck and custom runs up to 90 percent color fleck. Reground rubber flooring rolls are an option at discounted pricing.

This rolled rubber product is not a fatigue-relief flooring product. It is hard like a car tire and will not provide a cushion for aerobic activities. For those activities, please see our Aerobics Flooring category page.

Avoid getting this rolled rubber product wet. Although very non-porous, this rubber material will absorb water over time when submerged repeatedly or power-washed on a regular basis. To dry this rubber material, it is best to elevate the material off the ground or hand dry.

1/4 inch material is recommended to be glued for installations over 500 SF.

In some cases, the manufacturer may provide a cut length within two pieces of material. In other cases, the manufacturer may send material that is over or under the specified linear footage. In all cases, the manufacturer is required to supply the overall amount of material per order. It is common for rolled rubber jobs to have butt seams or cut end seams within one roll or run.

Disclaimer

Any black recycled rubber material can have minor variations in the intensity of the black color. The rubber flooring can have a shading look when the product changes direction when placed on the floor. This occurs due to the way light is reflected and how the human eye sees the color. Installing the product in the same direction can diminish the appearance of color differences.

Maintenance

Always use Neutral Ph cleaner on rubber flooring. Damp mop.
