Q: Can the dBTiles and Quad Blok be field modified to accommodate a 45-degree room angle in a plan? Is there a rubber base sold with this floor system available?
A: Yes, the tiles can be modified to accommodate different angles and obstacles, such as posts. Here is a link to the installation and maintenance manual; there you will find instructions for cutting the tiles. A rubber base is not recommended with this tile. The manufacturer would recommend that it be used over concrete or plywood, as the QuadBlok system requires a hard, flat surface.
