The McGoverns waited for six months before reviewing the tiles to ensure they performed consistently over time. “The review is excellent,” says Mr. McGovern. “These things have worked fantastically for us.” They use the tiles primarily for aerobic-type workouts, like calisthenics, boxing, and stretching. “They have enough of a give that they’re not hard, but they’re hard enough that they don’t give,” he says.

Most importantly, the tiles have securely stayed in place when installed on the carpet. They feature a pattern on the back that digs into the carpet without damaging it. “We put these on a basement floor that has about one inch of padding on it with pretty standard carpet,” says McGovern.

“In the six months we’ve had them, they have not moved an inch, which has been a big deal for us,” he says. “They don’t hurt the carpet, and they work fantastic. We highly recommend them.”
