Protect Athletes With Quality Wall Pads
The Safety Fire Rated Impact Wall Pads are indoor wood-backed wall panels designed for temporary installations using Z Clip top and bottom of panels. ASTM E-48 Class A PVC Vinyl compliant 2-inch polychloroprene foam makes up their construction. This product has been tested in accordance with CDPH 01350 v1.2 VOC emissions evaluation requirements and qualifies for LEED v4.1EQ credit: Low-emitting materials. This combination of foam and wood is wrapped on the front and sides and securely stapled to the backer board.
This is a great choice for school gymnasiums, recreation centers, and martial arts studios to protect children, athletes and walls from impact. It's also popular in calm, therapy, or sensory rooms to create a safer environment for those with special needs.
Choose Wall Pads Designed for Safety
This foam padding for walls features quality components to ensure optimal performance.
- The backing consists of a 7/16-inch OSB backer board. It’s third-party certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative procurement standard and free of added urea-formaldehyde resins.
- The foam layer is a two-inch polychloroprene foam and is compliant with ASTM E-84 Class A and NFPA 286 flame and smoke testing. Also meets ASTM 2440 protective standard testing method quantifies impact in of g-max and Head Injury Criterion (HIC) scores.
- The cover is an 18-ounce coated smooth matte vinyl.
This protective wall padding can contribute to LEED points. It’s also anti-mildew, anti-fungus, antimicrobial, anti-bacterial, and UV-treated. Passes NFPA-701, CSFM-19 and ASTM E-84 Class A fire retardant compliant.
Temporary Installation
These cushioned wall pads include Z-Clip attachments to go along the top and bottom, where the rail is screwed to the wall to clip the pads on. This is the ideal choice for most temporary matting installations.
Custom Wall Padding
Wall pads can be ordered in custom sizes to fit gymnasiums, studios, safe rooms, and other installations. We can also create custom graphics and logos. Please call for custom orders.
Maintenance
Panels can be wiped clean with a low PH cleaner, wipe dry.
