Hello, My name is Jennifer Hedrick. I am a dance mom of a very stubborn 7-year-old that attends Giles County School of Dance.
We are a small studio in a small town that doesn't have a lot to offer kids. Dance is an outlet for these girls. They each enjoy this studio very much and the teachers are more than teachers of dance. They are positive role models that also teach our girls self awareness, self respect, and confidence.
I used to have to peel my daughter away from my neck when she first started. My daughter has sensory issues, and Mrs. Tashina has really helped her overcome some of those issues through dance. It would mean a lot to our studio if we were to win. Thank you so much for your time.
