This gymnastics tumbling mat is a highly versatile addition to a preschool, elementary school, or other program for young students. (It’s recommended that older students and professional athletes use a thicker mat.)
The 1.5-inch-thick mat is not just a surface for gymnastics; it's a safety measure. Offering valuable shock absorption, it helps keep athletes safe, making it an ideal choice for students and gym classes, bounce houses, indoor playgrounds, and kids’ recreation centers.
Quality crosslinked polyethylene foam is wrapped in a durable vinyl-coated polyester surface. As a cost-saving measure, the underside of the mats features gray vinyl.
Connect Mats With Hook and Loop Fasteners
The gymnastics mat is a V4 mat, which features Velcro hook and loop fasteners on all four sides. That design allows you to create a full installation by connecting the mats side-to-side and end-to-end for versatile design choices. In contrast, V2 mats only have hook and loop attachments on the short ends to create long runs.
The hook and loop fastener is 2 inches wide, creating a secure connection.
