Use these heavy-duty rolls anywhere you need to deliver anti-slip traction, noise reduction, and protection for the original floor, all at a good value.

Don’t assume that rubber flooring rolls are only available in black and are too dull for your space. Let us show you how our rubber rolls can give you the perfect-looking floor design at a great price … and value like that is never dull!

Types of Rolled Rubber Flooring

When you select rubber mat rolls for your garage, basement, or commercial building, you can usually choose from various color and thickness options.

Colors

The most common color for our bulk mat rolls is black, but you can enhance the sheet's appearance with a few options.
  • 10% concentration
  • 20% concentration
  • 25% concentration
  • 30% concentration
  • 90% concentration

You can usually make custom orders for other colors and concentrations in the floor matting rolls. The 10% color concentration is the most common.

You also can order a rubber matting roll with a different base color than black, including:
  • Gray
  • Beige
  • Blue
  • Maroon
  • Red

These gym flooring rolls typically are not a solid color. They have other shades of color against the base color.

Thicknesses

Select the rubber roll flooring thickness that matches the type of activity that you have in mind. A thin mat roll will cost less and be easier to maneuver than a thick roll. The most common options we offer include:
  • 0.125 inches (1/8 inch)
  • 0.236 inches (6 mm)
  • 0.25 inches (1/4 inch)
  • 0.315 inches (8 mm)
  • 0.375 inches (3/8 inch)
  • 0.5 inches (1/2 inch)
  • 0.571 inches (14.5 mm)

For a gym area where exercise equipment and average-sized free weights are in use, a 3/8-inch thick mat is sufficient. For gyms that won’t have weights dropped to the floor, 8 mm of thickness is usually sufficient. Heavy free weights require at least 1/2-inch thick rolled rubber flooring, and you may need to add thick rubber mats over the top for more cushioning and protection for the subfloor.

Benefits

One of the biggest benefits of a rubber flooring roll is the ability to select material that’s as wide and long as needed, either through a custom size or a pre-cut size. Other benefits of rolled rubber flooring include:
  • Protect subfloors
  • Protect equipment
  • Provide cushioning
  • Provide anti-slip traction
  • Keep athletes safe
  • Keep animals safe at a doggy daycare or agility center
  • Maintain durability in a high foot traffic area
  • Cut down on noise from equipment
